​French Montana was in danger of becoming dead weight for Khloe Kardashian – so the sassy reality TV star forced the Muslim rapper to adopt a cleaner, healthier lifestyle.
Khloe—who dropped 30 pounds recently—“is frustrated with how self-indulgent French is,” a family friend confessed to Dish Nation.

“She told him his chubby belly was a turn-off and that he needed to shape up or ship out. Khloe is strict about which foods she eats and about portion sizes. French, on the other hand, orders two or three entrees for dinner.”

“He’ll get a huge steak, a lobster and a bunch of side dishes. And that’s not counting the mixed drinks, champagne and wine to wash it all down!”

After French lost weight following the annual month of fasting for Ramadan earlier this summer, “Khloe told him he needed to keep the momentum going,” says the source.

“Khloe tried to get French to join in with her personal training sessions, but he prefers the intensity of P90X.”

“And now when they go out to eat, Khloe restricts French to one appetizer, one entrée and dessert only once a week. They both also practice a vegetarian diet on weekdays.”

“Khloe grappled with weight issues her whole life and she finally feels good about herself. She wants to help French with his self esteem too.”

French—who’s musical crew is called the Coke Boys—“worried at first that dieting and exercising would make him look soft in the rap community.”

Instead, after dropping 20 pounds, “French feels empowered and so grateful to Khloe.”
