(Gossip-Grind) New Video: Scarface – “Mental Exorcism”
Houston rap legend Scarface returns to the spotlight with his latest album Deeply Rooted. With the release of the video for his single Mental Exorcism, Face addreses some of the issues that Black Americans face today, such as racism and police brutality.
The video shows Scarface sitting at a table reading a newspaper as headlines and images of lives lost over the past few years flash across the screen. The pain that Black America has endured over the lost of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and Freddie Gray is all revisited in this powerful video.
