Corporate Thugz Entertainment co-founder Demetrius “Kinky B” Ellerbee is suing Young Jeezy, Def Jam, and Universal Music Group. In a lawsuit filed in Fulton County Superior Court Ellerbee says that he has not been properly compensated for his role in helping grow CTE. Ellerbee says he was integral in both forming CTE and landing the deal (with Def Jam) and should be fairly compensated for his role. Ellerbee claims that Jeezy took over the company and redirected company funds to his own personal account. Ellerbee is seeking $5 million in damages, in addition to interest, punitive damages and legal costs.
