Singer/songwriter and producer Kevin Ross brings a refreshing and unique voice to the r&b genre, in a time when it seems like every singer wants to be a rapper, and every rapper wants to be a singer, Kevin’s style, finesse, and awe-inspiring vocals is a welcomed change from the norm. Ross, originally from Washington D.C. but now residing in Atlanta, Ga. is a graduate of the prestigous Berklee College of Music in Boston. He recently toured with Maxwell on his “Summer Solstice” tour, performed at the Essence Music Festival, BET Honors 2013, was dubbed by BET as a “Music Matters Artist”, Essence Music Festival and has been called the “Best New R&B Artist” by AOL Music.
With the release of his Motown EP Dialogue In The Grey Ross leaves listeners with an impressive first introduction, and if this EP is a preview of what’s to come on his debut album, I can’t wait to hear more from this young talented artist. The four-track extended play features guest appearances by Ne-Yo on the song Overrated, and “The King of the South” T.I. on Money Over Love.
Ross will be going on on the road with Ne-Yo in October. Check out the dates below.
