Former Cash Money recording artist Tab “Turk” Virgil has been released from Forrest City Prison in Arkansas after serving almost nine years. In 2005, Turk was convicted on charges of being a felon in possesion of a firearm. The charges stemmed from a 2004 shootout with Memphis police in which two officers were injured.
