(Gossip-Grind News) Stevie J Arrested For Owing $1 Million In Child Support:
Stevie J, star of VH1′s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, was arrested at his De Kalb County, Georgia home on Monday for allegedly failing to pay over $1 million in child support.
According to court documents obtained by ABC News Radio, a warrant was issued for Stevie J, whose birth name is Steven Jordan, after he failed to pay child support payments for two children he had with an unnamed woman in New York.
According to New York County Family Court, Stevie was ordered to pay $6,608 a month in child support payments back in 1999. The payments were increased to $8,557 in 2011. Because he allegedly hadn’t willingly made a payment since March 2001, Stevie currently owes $1,107,412 in back child support.
According to court docs, Jordan currently makes $27,000 per month, thanks to his hit VH1 reality show in which he stars with another baby momma, Mimi Faust, and his new wife, Joseline Hernandez.
