Chad “Pimp C” Butler’s lifelong friend and UGK partner Bun B confirmed this morning via Instagram that Pimp’s mother Weslyn Monroe had passed away.
KFDM reports:
PORT ARTHUR – Family members tell KFDM News the mother of Pimp C, Weslyn Monroe also known as Mama Wes, died after a 2 week battle with pneumonia.
Family members tell KFDM Reporter, Leslie Rangel she went to the hospital about two weeks ago and was in care for about five days.
Mama Wes then felt fine and returned home.5 days later Mama Wes returned to the hospital because she was coughing and having trouble breathing.
She died Sunday morning at 11 am.
Rest In Peace Mama Wes…Condolences and prayers to the Butler and Monroe family.
