(Gossip-Grind News) Philly’s Most Wanted Mr. Man Victim Of Hit And Run:

Philadelphia rapper Joel “Mr.Man” Witherspoon was the victim of an intentional hit-and-run early morning. Police believe that the the hit-and-run was the result of a love triangle that turned violent.

According to Delaware County Daily Times:

Police would like to speak with Conroy Williams, of Philadelphia, the owner of the Range Rover that struck and seriously injured 36-year old Joel Witherspoon at 5:28 a.m. in the 900 block of Bedford Avenue.

Witherspoon, a local businessman and former member of the Rap group Philly’s Most Wanted, remains hospitalized at Crozer-Chester Medical Center after undergoing several surgeries, police said.

Williams was identified as “a person of interest,” and has not been named a suspect.

Witnesses told police that the driver of the Range Rover had parked on the street early Saturday and stayed inside of the SUV. When he spotted Witherspoon, the SUV driver sped toward him, slamming into the 36-year-old man as he stood next to his white Cadillac that was parked in front of him home, police said.

The SUV also hit several other cars, causing a significant amount of damage. Unable to move the SUV, the driver jumped out and ran, police said.

A female, believed to have been Witherspoon’s ex-girlfriend of was seen driving from the scene in a minivan. Police initially believed she may have been involved, but later determined she had nothing to do with the crash.

Investigators are trying to confirm reports that Williams was involved with Witherspoon’s ex-girlfriend and they have a child together.
