(Gossip-Grind) Mississippi Rapper Lil Lonnie Dead At 22:
Mississippi based recording artist, Lonnie Taylor, better known by his stage name Lil Lonnie, was shot and killed Sunday night. Taylor was one of two people who were killed and two people were injured after three separate shooting incidents in Jackson. One of the injured is listed in critical condition. Taylor was 22.
Lonnie Taylor is a well-known local rapper who goes by the name “Lil Lonnie”. He was a student at Jackson State University.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers responded to Montebello Drive where a car had crashed into the front of a home.
Taylor was driving the car when it crashed and had been shot multiple times. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. A woman was also in the car with him and has not yet been identified. Police say that she was not injured.
Officers later learned that the back of the car had been shot into by an unknown individual as it traveled down Montebello Dr.
There is no suspect or motive is known at time.(WDAM)
