(Gossip-Grind News) Is Lil Wayne Leaving Cash Money?
What the hell is going on over at Cash Money Records? The ever growing list of disgruntled artist has continued to grow over the years, and has included the likes of Busta Rhymes, Mystikal, and more recently Tyga.
Never in a million years would I have thought that Cash Money’s most prominent artist, Lil Wayne, would be added to this list. After all this is the man who put Cash Money on his back and carried them through the rough years (when all the other artist on the roster left), you would think they would do whatever it took to keep their franchise player happy.
Apparently the relationship between Wayne and the William brothers (Birdman and Slim) has gone sour, because the Young Money founder took to Twitter earlier today (Dec. 4) to air out his label frustrations. Wayne criticized his only recording home in a series of tweets. The rapper wrote the following:
“To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it.”
“This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation.”
“I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”
“I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting for me and this album. But thank you.”
Rapper Pusha T saw Wayne’s tweets and invited Tunechi to jump ship and come over to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music.
