(Gossip-Grind News) Keyshia Cole Live At The Wiltern In Los Angeles:
On Friday, August 22nd, I attended Keyshia Cole’s Point of No Return concert at the Wiltern located in Los Angeles, California. First, I must say that the Wiltern probably wasn’t the greatest choice of venues. I had tickets closest to the stage, however, they were standing room only. Not the best idea for an artist such as KC. I would have preferred to see her in a more intimate setting.
I arrived minutes before singer Adrian Marcel, a fairly hot new artist was about to take the stage. The 2AM singer noticeably had a strong following as he performed several songs off his current album as well as a few other artist’s songs. By the way, on top of having a great voice he oozed a whole lot of sexiness. He kind of reminded of a modern day El DeBarge but with the urban cockyness of Trey Songz.
Finally, KC hit the stage after building the audience’s anticipation. KC came out singing a single off her new album dressed in an over-sized baseball jersey with sneakers with her long golden locks stuffed under a baseball cap. Beneath that she had on a halter top and high-waisted briefs. Very street meets sexy kind of get up. Not only did KC do some choreographed moves to some of her more up temple songs, KC also sung ballads effortlessly, filled with intense emotion.
She kept the crowd engaged singing several songs from her first album including I Changed My Mind, Love, and I Remember. She also performed a mixture of songs from her past albums as well as her upcoming album Point of No Return, showcasing how she has evolved and blossomed into an even stronger, beautiful woman. It was evident that KC is definitely still dealing with personal issues. Which makes her an artist that’s easy to relate to and connect with. I’m glad that KC has been able to express her pain as well as her happiness through her music. And now, to have finally seen her perform live, I can confirm that KC puts on a great show!!
