(Gossip-Grind News)’Empire’ Sued By Woman Claiming To Be The Real Cookie Lyons:
Detroit native and self-described “drug kingpin” Sophia Eggleston (53) has filed a $300 million copyright infringement lawsuit against Fox and hit show Empire’s co-creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong claiming she’s the real life Cookie Lyon (played by Taraji P. Henson). Eggleston claims the character was created based on her life memoir she gave to a screenwriter, who then pitched it to Daniels in 2011. Daniels stated he feels the case is closed and sent a two word response to Eggleston which simply said- “Bye Felicia”. Oh My!
