Atlanta rap star Rocko performed his controversial single U.E.O.N.O. during a recent concert at Tuskegee University.
Judging from the look on the rapper’s face he was caught off guard when the dj began playing Rick Ross’ version on the popular song (Ross’ verse was removed from the original song after what was deemed as pro-rape lyrics came under fire by critics and women’s groups across the country). Rocko playfully covered his face with a towel, and placed his fingers in his ears as Rozay’s voice boomed through the sound system.
Judging from the reaction of the crowd Ross may have lost his Reebok endorsement deal but he hasn’t lost any fans. The audience (women included) recited his lyrics word for word much to the delight of Rocko Da Don.
Maybe Ross will be able to receive another shoe deal after this whole thing blows over. Given his success with resurrecting Reebok, I’m sure other fading brands like British Knights, L.A. Gear, or ProWings would let him name his own price to bring a little shine to their near death companies again.
