(Gossip-Grind) Beyoncé’s Throwing A Soul Train-Themed 35th Birthday Party

All aboard the Soul Train, Beyoncé is turning 35!

A source tells E! News exclusively the superstar will ring in her birthday with a star-studded celebration à la the classic television series that was all about grooving to disco, funk and hip hop music while rocking some pretty sweet threads. That being said, we can only imagine the fly ensemble Queen Bey will rock in honor of her milestone age. It is Beyoncé, after all.

And although we have yet to receive our invitation in the mail (don’t worry, it’s coming any day now), the insider adds that the festivities will be held on September 5 in New York City, one day after her actual birthday.

This time last year the birthday girl was ringing in her 34th year headlining the Made in America music festival in Philadelphia, so this time around it’s safe to assume the Grammy winner is looking forward to cutting loose amid an exceptionally demanding year for her career.

Evidently the “Sorry” songstress is a big fan of birthdays, as thefairy-themed celebration she threw for her and Jay Z’s 4-year-old daughter Blue Ivy so proves. From colorful lounge sofas to cozy tents and a dinner table dressed with quirky mismatched chairs adorned with butterfly wings (only to be topped by a visit from some real life fairies), Bey sure knows how to throw an enviable soirée.

And like we said, it’s only a matter of time before our very own Soul Train-esque invite arrives in our mailbox. Right?!
