Ben Carson has witnessed a lot of quitting, like not shaving his own face before going to work in the mornings, his unforgettable runs for the presidency and now one of his staff members has officially quit Trump.
The Guardian reports,
“The adviser, Naved Jafry, resigned from his role after The Guardian raised questions about him, including about his several allegations of fraud.
Jafry admitted to exaggerating his military record, according to the Guardian, and said he chose to resign because the questions raised by the publication had hurt his reputation in the department.
He had also misrepresented himself on parts of his personal website, and exaggerated the extent of his military service, the publication reported.
His resignation comes after reports that HUD Secretary Ben Carson and his wife chose a $31,000 furniture set for the secretary’s office themselves. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Thursday the White House was “looking into” the matter.”
Looks like that $31,000 dining set was a very expensive purchase in more ways than one but honestly, I don’t even really care. I feel nothing. It’s like losing a cousin you never met and finding out they died 46 years later.
