(Gossip-Grind News) August Alsina Collapses On Stage:

R&B superstar August Alsina shocked concert goers Monday night when he collapsed and fell off the stage during his show at Irving Plaza in Manhattan, NY. The incident happened just hours after Alsina debuted his new video for his single No Love (Remix) featuring Nicki Minaj.

BET’s best new artist of the year appeared to faint during his gig at Irving Plaza in downtown Manhattan. August was walking near the front of the stage when he suddenly fell over into the crowd.

Witnesses tell TMZ … he appeared to be out cold when security guards ran to him in the crowd … and quickly moved him backstage. Paramedics were seen entering the venue to treat the singer — most famous for “Ghetto” (with Rich Homie Quan) and his “No Love” remix with Nicki Minaj.

Witnesses say August was taken out on a stretcher, but was alert enough to wave to fans on the way out. It’s unclear what his condition is now. We’ve called his reps … so far, no word back. (TMZ)

Alsina’s bodyguard Terrance Holloway released the following statement via Instagram:

“Hey everybody! Asina nation; all our auggies! This big T… just letting everybody know that yungin’ is OK and making a full recovery… He was super dehydrated. he’s good, he’s stable, and sleeping like a baby! He gave me a thumbs up b4 I walked out of his room. I know y’all love my goon just as much as I do. Thank you for all ya prayers, tweets, IG love and all that. NY we owe u a few more songs… be back soon. Love
